Ben has recently been a special guest on the road with Joe McElderry, Sam Callahan and Keith Jack.

Joe McElderry has recently released his brand new album 'Saturday Night at the Movies' and this tour is a chance for fans to hear his new album, along with many songs that everyone is sure to be clapping and singing along to.

​After appearing on the 2007 BBC search for a Joseph, Ben finally got the call to appear in this much loved classic.
Not as Jospeh but as The Pharaoh, King of Egypt in the UK National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat...
Having Been on the road since Jauary 2017, he was delighted to be asked back to reprise his role as Mr Pharaoh Man. 

Joe McElderry is a fantastic, critically acclaimed Joseph and their on stage chemistry is something not to be missed. Ben is back doing what he does best... Rocking & rolling audiences with his energetic, charismatic, award winning performances.

Playing venues up and down the country from Southend to Dunfermline, from Swansea to Liverpool and ending with a 2 week run at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena.

My Bio...


Ben is from Scarborough, North Yorkshire. By the age of 10 Ben was performing in many amateur and professional shows in the area, most notably appearing in Sir Alan Ayckbourn’s world premier of 'House & Garden'.
At 16 Ben decided to up and move to London to study Theatre and TV at The Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts.
Ben was only into his second of 3 years when he successfully auditioned for BBC’s Any Dream Will Do (Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for a Joseph). Ben made it to the Semi-finals narrowly missing out on the title role. It was seen by over 12 million people live every Saturday night, and continues to be aired in many countries around the world.
Following the end of the TV show Ben starred in a European tour of 'Dirty Dancing' before being asked to audition for a new West End show ‘Hairspray’ in which he landed the starring role of Link Larkin. Staying with the show at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London for 2 years.
During his time on 'Hairspray' Ben made many TV appearances, the most prestigious being The Royal Variety Performance in front of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II herself. Ben was lucky enough to be one of few people selected to meet her and chat after the show.
Hairspray took the West End by storm and picked up many awards including 11 Olivier Award nominations, winning a record 4. Ben personally received a nomination for an Olivier. And won a ‘What’s On Stage Award’ for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.

Ben was then asked to temporarily hang up his musical dancing boots and take on the very challenging world of straight plays. He played 'The Soilder' in Brendan Behan's most famous Irish play, 'The Hostage', performed at the Southwark Playhouse, London.
Other TV shows include; Hole in the Wall; Ready, Steady, Cook; The Weakest Link Christmas Special; The Paul O'Grady Show; The Friday Night Project (Coat of Cash); The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
One of Ben’s most watched TV appearances was when he was asked to present a show for Sky1 called ‘Hairspray the School Musical’.

​​Following that Ben went on to co-host another Sky1 show, this time with the legendary Noel Edmonds, Noel’s HQ, seen by over 6 million people.
After Hairspray, Ben went on to support Michael Ball and John Barrowman in their National Arena tours playing venues such as the Manchester Arena and The Royal Albert Hall. The latter being a personal highlight.
Ben was thrilled to be asked to feature on BBC 2's Friday Night is Music Night alongside Steve Balsamo and Patina Miller, singing three songs with the 60 piece, BBC Concert Orchestra. 
He was also asked to perform at Andrew LLoyd Webber's 60th Birthday concert at Hyde Park in London sining in fornt of over 30,000 people.
Ben has done three pantomimes to date, all for Qdos Entertainment. ‘Peter Pan’ in ‘Peter Pan’ at The New Hull Theatre, ‘Prince Charming’ in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ at the Crawley Hawth Theatre and the title role of ‘Jack Trott’ in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' at the Wolverhampton Grand.


His next West End show was Dreamboats & Petticoats where he starred as Norman. He then went on to reprise this role on the national and European tours.
Ben appeared in ‘Brother Loves Travelling Salvation Show’ along side Brian Conley and Darren Day. A national tour of the music of Neil Diamond performed in a full sized circus tent.
He has recently been on the road as a Special Guest for Joe McElderry on his Saturday Night at the Movies Live Tour.
Ben has just completed a year long stint in the UK Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as The Pharaoh, Mr Elvis Presley himself.
